Rubric’s Cube Anyone?

Good To Be Bad is the third book in the Good Love series by Lauren Blakely and Lili Valente. These two authors together continue to WOW me in every way! This story is about Gigi who has decided to run her family's pie store, living her dream. She is done with men; lying, cheating, no good men. Well, that is until she hears the voice of the sexy Brit that just happens to walk into the same venue she is at. She doesn't want anything long-lasting, just a good old one-night stand that she has no dought the good old Brit can deliver. West, the sexy Brit that turns heads wherever he goes, can't help but be smitten with Gigi. A woman who knows exactly who she is, what she likes, can complete a rubric's cube in under a minute, and come up with the most amazing scramble words. Yep, West just might have found the woman of his dreams. So after a night of heavy flirting and board games, West and Gigi end up in bed together. Both blissful and intrigued by one another, it seems like nothing can bring them down. Unless you see the man that just rocked your world walking into the tea shop that is soon to open and ruin your business. The hotty Brit now became the man she hates. Poor West wants Gigi too badly and stops at nothing to win her over again. Will Gigi forgive the Brit? I loved West and Gigi. They complemented each other so well, the Ying to the Yang. Well written again by the double duo superstars Lili Valente and Lauren Blakely. Two of my favorite authors. Well done, well done!!

I love their chemistry!!

First of all, I love this duo's writing. They bring in so many laughs my cheeks are hurting by the end of the night. Good to Be Bad was an anticipated read of mine and I am so glad I was able to get my hands on it! Gigi was my new favorite gal pal and West had me in a puddle of goo with his sweetness! This story had me swooning and having a good time. It was a "feel good" story even if there was a couple of roadblocks, our peeps learn how to find their way. Good to Be Bad is a great read that I recommend! You will feel like you are home.

You had me at page one!

Sweet, sexy and so very satisfying, Good To Be Bad brings all the sugar and spice with none of those pesky calories or annoying angst! West and Gigi are so much fun. I love their banter, their nerdy-ness and their attachment to honestly. Gigi wasn’t far off the mark when she thought West was perfect, because even imperfections couldn’t dim this man’s heart and wit. I love strong female characters and Gigi definitely personifies strength, wrapped in kindness, and covered in humor. I’m not sure when I’ve loved a duo more. Valente and Blakely are a a dynamic writing pair. Every collaboration I’ve read of theirs has been wonderful, not to mention titles they’ve written by themselves. From plots to characters, dialogue to pacing…I’ve never been disappointed. Oh…and the epilogue?! Genius!

Delicious Fun

This was such a fun story. As a Food Network junkie, I adored the baking competition element. There was also flirty banter, steamy moments, and plenty of chuckles. And the English accent certainly didn’t hurt (thank you audio!). I hated how Gigi blamed herself when things went down. I wanted to reach out and hug her. But I was so glad she had such a great family to lean on. I was expecting more drama between Gigi and West. Things were pretty perfect between them, which was fun, but it would’ve been nice to see them work through something together. West was so great though. I don’t really see how he could ever do anything wrong. And I’m not sure who was supposed to be “bad.” Nothing wrong with a little kink.

I also really want to dress like her. West is charming and sincere and SUPER fun. Enter 30%….and the confusion and hilarity begins. I absolutely love these two and their banter. The world-building is excellent and the characters are fantastic. I love them both, as well as the family. Grab this HOT as sin, funny book today!!

Sweet Read!!

A collaboration between Lauren Blakely and Lili Valente is always a winning combination. Good to Be Bad is a delicious good time. This light, low angst, flirty romance will make you smile and your heart flutter...And, you’ll probably crave a slice of pie when you're done. (I did) This book is so cute. Gigi and West are wonderful together. Compatible in so many ways. I love how they connected through board games, rubix cubes and witty banter. Their relationship started out so passionately. When they were pitted against each other in a baking competition, they became rivals. Of course, their connection is too strong to stay away from one another. Gigi is lovely. I loved her vibrancy and positivity. Her heart is so big and kind. And, West is all kinds of hot. Where do I find a sexy Brit that will provide me with sweets and all the o's?! If you're looking for a delightful and sweet read that's full of competitive banter, outstanding character chemistry and kinky goodness then I would absolutely recommend Good to Be Bad.

A sexy and witty romance!

Good to be Bad is book 3 in Lauren Blakely and Lili Valente’s Good Love series. These ladies certainly know how to turn a phrase and spectacularly deliver a sexy and witty romance that I simply didn’t want to put down. I love Gigi and West’s chemistry which practically melds their hearts together from the moment they meet. Gigi is so sweet and spirited, and I really love the inner strength that she has despite her bit of uncertainty. West is quickly drawn to her quirkiness and swoons for her as much as Gigi does for him making their love simply skyrocket. And the banter between not only West and Gigi but all the support characters was so much fun making me giggle and leaving me with a smile not only on my face, but also in my heart. Ms. Blakely and Ms. Valente are the perfect writing pair and their stories are undeniably entertaining from begin to end.

Sweet and Romantic with Hot & Steamy Sex Scenes

Sweet and Romantic with Hot & Steamy Sex Scenes Gigi and West have amazing chemistry from the moment they meet at game night at a local bar. After lots of flirting and very witty banter between them, he goes home with her for what she assumes will be a one night stand. But they have too much fun together and plan to spend the next day together when Gigi finds out West is the one opening the tea and scone shop across the street from her coffee and pie shop. Junk ping to conclusions, Gigi thinks it was a set up and that West is trying sabotage her. Can they work it out? Many emotions in this fun enemies to lovers story, including infatuation, amazement, angst, and drama. Gigi has issues with trust thanks to cheating and lying ex-boyfriends, so she has trouble believing West really cares for her. West in so infatuated with Gigi and is sweet and loving, giving her thoughtful gifts and trying to take care of her. A few of my favorite scenes are — * Gigi & West’s meet cute * Gram! She is a riot especially winning poker and taking Harrison’s money * The baking competitions * Anything happening in West’s library * Chapter 31 — all of it especially the $50 bet between Abby and West * The epilogue — are we being set up for a related book about Harrison? Ms. Blakely and Ms. Valente have written a five star book that grabs your attention from the beginning. You won’t want to put the book down until the end and then you’ll want the story to continue. I received a complimentary copy of this book and am voluntarily giving an honest review

Delicious!!

Good to Be Bad is book 3 in the Good to Love series by Lauren Blakely and Lili Valente. This co-writing duo keeps me entertained. Their writing is seamless. Good to Be Bad is an instalove, not quite enemies to lovers, because let’s face it, you just can’t hate West, the sexy British baker even if he is the competition. Gigi falls for West with every turn of his Rubik’s cube and sweet concoction he makes. This book checks all my boxes. It’s funny, sexy, has amazing characters and in the end makes you feel good!

It’s definitely Good to be Bad!

This one is fun and flirty! Loved the banter and chemistry between West and Gigi. Add in a dirty talking Brit and a competition and you’ll be swooning and laughing until the end.

Sooo good!

Lili Valente and Lauren Blakely are such a fun writing duo! Gigi is a pie shop owner and the sweetest most loving person on the planet. West is a hot Brit that owns the tea shop across the street. Both are extremely competitive and kind of kinky! Together they are a perfect match! This book was a treat from beginning to end! I practically read it in one sitting. I also listened to the audio book and let me tell you~ Shane East and Lili Valente did a wonderful job with these characters. It was so hot, I was worried my kindle might melt.

A delicious treat

Good To Be Bad was a delightful read. West and Gigi were fantastic characters. I just loved their meet cute. It spoke to my nerdy self. They were such a good match. Their banter and interactions were swoony, fun, and hot. They brought out the best in each other and also a little competitive side which added to the fun. West was swoony and caring. Gigi was fierce, bold, and thoughtful. These two had me smiling and laughing throughout their story. I also enjoyed the backdrop of the cooking competition. I was wanting some of those creations-yum! It was nice seeing previous characters from the other two books in the series. Overall, this was an adorable story with sassy characters, great writing, and an entertaining storyline.

Delicious Fun that is no Slow Burn! West and Gigi Sizzle!

If you can’t stand the heat, then don’t read this book, because it is sizzling! Our hero and heroine are two Pastry Chefs and business owners who meet by chance, and as Barry White will tell you, they get it on. This is no slow burn. It’s insta-attraction, insta-lust, and an insta-good time! Lauren Blakely and Lili Valente teamed up once again to pen the third installment of their Good Love series, Good to Be Bad. These books are low on angst and high on steam, with plenty of witty banter and laughs in between. From the very first chapter, I had a big giant smile on my face. I just adored how they met and were enamored with each other, especially when they discovered they’ve met their match as they both were smart as whips, loved various games, and were uber competitive. Gigi James, owner of Sweetie Pies, isn’t sure at first if she can trust Weston “West” Byron, who along with his sister opens up a Tea Room and Sweet Shop right across the street. Her reaction to his business is amusing as our heroine can be a wound-up little spitfire, and it only escalates from there when she learns they will be pitted against each other in a professionally sponsored baking competition on live TV! But our hero is ever so charming and easy on the eyes…how can she resist his sweet talk and dimples? And West can cook, loves his sister and brother, and is the best boyfriend ever. I swooned at his genuine affection and appreciation of her on many pages, and how he always put her first. Gigi was eccentric and true to herself. She worked hard, was a wonderful friend, kind to others, and loved with her whole heart. She was thoughtful, loyal and generous, and I loved how she didn’t play head games. They both were honest about their feelings and their relationship was so passionate and continued to grow as they learned more and more about each other. Loved their flirty texts, too! His friend Graham and his wife CJ have a cameo from the “V Card” which was a fun surprise, but please note that each book can be read as a total standalone. And if you love audio-books, West is British so his voice is super sexy!

Good to Be Bad is book 3 in the Good to Love series by Lauren Blakely and Lili Valente. This co-writing duo keeps me entertained. Their writing is seamless. Good to Be Bad is an instalove, not quite enemies to lovers, because let’s face it, you just can’t hate West, the sexy British baker even if he is the competition. Gigi falls for West with every turn of his Rubik’s cube and sweet concoction he makes. This book checks all my boxes. It’s funny, sexy, has amazing characters and in the end makes you feel good!

Hot and hilarious

The first 30% of this book will hook you in and hold you. Gigi is vivacious and fantastic. I want her to be my best friend. She knows what she wants and she goes for it.

Good to Be Bad is book 3 in the Good to Love series by Lauren Blakely and Lili Valente. This co-writing duo keeps me entertained. Their writing is seamless. Good to Be Bad is an instalove, not quite enemies to lovers, because let’s face it, you just can’t hate West, the sexy British baker even if he is the competition. Gigi falls for West with every turn of his Rubik’s cube and sweet concoction he makes. This book checks all my boxes. It’s funny, sexy, has amazing characters and in the end makes you feel good!

Good to Be Bad is book 3 in the Good to Love series by Lauren Blakely and Lili Valente. This co-writing duo keeps me entertained. Their writing is seamless. Good to Be Bad is an instalove, not quite enemies to lovers, because let’s face it, you just can’t hate West, the sexy British baker even if he is the competition. Gigi falls for West with every turn of his Rubik’s cube and sweet concoction he makes. This book checks all my boxes. It’s funny, sexy, has amazing characters and in the end makes you feel good!

I don’t really see how he could ever do anything wrong. And I’m not sure who was supposed to be “bad.” Nothing wrong with a little kink.

They have an amazing night together but, the next morning Gigi finds out that West is a business rival and they are both competing in the towns “Mrs. & Mr. Sweet Stuff” baking competition.

5 Yummy Stars

Lauren Blakely and Lili Valente team up once again to bring us another five-star read and it's deliciously perfect! Hilariously funny, sexy as sin and adorably fun, Good to be Bad is a delightful read that will engage you from the first page. I was so engrossed that I read the entire story in one day. The sign of an amazing story is that you cannot put it down and this one fits the bill perfectly! I adored the characters in this story. Gigi is a strong, independent, successful woman who knows what she wants and goes for it with gusto. She owns her sexuality and that is so empowering! West is the perfect man. He's successful, romantic, sexy and has a to-die-for British accent and boy am I a sucker for an accent! Trust me when I say that West is your next book boyfriend because this man is smokin'! These two have the perfect meet-cute and their connection is instantaneous. I loved their flirty banter, their competitiveness, their shared passions and the differences that make them the perfect match. Blakely and Valente turn up the heat and let me just say that Gigi and West are electric together! Holy Hannah, these two are hot, hot, HOT!!! Good to be Bad is the perfect light-hearted, fun rom-com. It's sweet, sexy and a ton of fun to read. It's a complete standalone but is connected to 2 other books however there are little to no spoilers which makes it easy for readers to jump right in to the story. But I definitely recommend the other two stories in the series because they, too are fabulous. Grab this story and enjoy every second of it! 5 stars
